I listen, respect, and encourage
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor offering counseling services to girls and women in Arkansas. My education background includes graphic design, psychology, art, and the completion of a Master of Science degree in School/Community counseling in 2016. I have worked in behavioral health and social services fields for over 17 years and have worked in a variety of settings including DHS, women's substance abuse treatment, behavioral health assessments, school-based counseling, crisis stabilization unit, intensive outpatient program and outpatient clinics. These experiences have provided extensive training, knowledge, and understanding to help me walk with you on your healing journey.
I use a wholistic integrative approach to counseling, blending models/skills from Existential, ACT, DBT, CBT, solution-focused, trauma informed, person-centered and expressive arts therapies to address the whole You---Mind, Body and Soul. There is no one style to fit all, as we are all unique individuals, and you will not walk alone on this journey. I offer authenticity, empathy, compassion, respect, acceptance, and encouragement in a non-judgmental safe space, and I value diversity, equity, and inclusion.
I treat a variety of issues including women's issues, ADHD, depression, anxiety, addiction, mood disorders, psychosis, self-harm, suicidal ideations, low self-esteem, grief, personality disorders, relationship issues, traumatic stress, and more. I want to help you heal, grow, and feel in control, finding balance and meaning in your life, through awareness, acceptance and action.
